How to keep one AI influencer consistent across photos and videos

6 min read

To keep an AI character consistent, give the model the person from every side instead of one photo. On Duble AI that is automatic: every look gets a character sheet, two drawings with the body from every angle and six close-ups of the face, made at no cost. More photos of the person and looks made from the first one help hold the rest.

What is an AI character sheet?

A character sheet is one picture of the same person from several sides, drawn in one go so that every view is the same person. Duble AI draws two for every look, one after the other, with no button and no prompt to write:

  • Every side: the body from the front, three-quarter, profile and back, with the face up close.
  • Face from every side: six close-ups of the face, from every side and one of them smiling.

Both sit on the look's page under Other angles: open Doubles (the app calls an influencer a double), tap yours, open the Looks tab and tap the look. Nothing is charged for the sheets.

When you make a video, the app gives the model the look, the two sheets and then the look's other angles. The video model gets only a few pictures of the character, and the sheets come right after the look.

Why does an AI character's face change from one video to the next?

A picture shows one side of a person. Whatever it does not show (the back of the head, the profile, the face laughing, the body seen from behind) the model has to invent, and it invents it differently each time. In a video this shows up fast, because the character turns and comes close to the camera.

So the tools that hold a face give the model more than one photo. Each does it its own way. The table says what each page documents and nothing about which one holds best. Duble AI is our product, and we ran no side-by-side test.

Do more photos help?

Yes, if your AI influencer came from your own photos. At creation, More images (optional) takes photos from the side, from behind, up close and from far away. On the result screen, Send more photos, under "Doesn't look like you?", makes the next drawing use all of them. On each look, the Other angles section has a Send photos button for the sides the sheet did not get right, and Delete this angle removes a photo that did not help. The app's own advice is short: the more photos, the better.

Only send photos of yourself or of people who agreed. Whose faces you may use, and what the app refuses, is covered in creating an AI influencer from a photo.

How do you change outfits without changing the person?

A new look is an edit of a look you choose (the Starting from row shows which). The person stays and only what you asked for changes, like a suit or pink hair. Each new look gets sheets of its own. A new look costs 2 credits, and its sheet costs nothing.

To have the influencer enter videos with the same look every time, mark one as the main look with Make this the main look. It is the one the double is shown by and goes into videos with when you pick no other. The steps are in changing your AI influencer's outfit and hair.

Here is Megamente, from the Duble AI cast, in three different trends: "The Fate of Ophelia", an interview at a party with other people in the shot, and a dance in a living room.

The scene, the movement and the sound come from each video, and the app may change the scene a little. The person is what stays: look at the face, the hair and the proportions of the body in all three. Duble AI does not promise an identical face in every frame, and a video can come out with small differences.

What to do when the face still slips

  • Send photos of the side that went wrong, under Other angles on the look.
  • Pick a trend where the person looks very different from your character. When the character could be mistaken for the person in the video, the app warns you the video takes about a minute longer and the face can come out with some of that person's features mixed in.
  • Give the character more pictures instead of hunting for another model. Duble AI has one model, and the answer to a video that fell short of what you wanted is to reinforce the character.
  • If a video fails, the credits go back right away, and Try again returns you to the trend with the same choices.

The same person also shows up in photos for the feed, in the look you pick. The route is in putting your AI influencer into a real photo.

Why a fixed face matters for a profile

Two AI profiles that went viral repeat the same look in changing settings. Jean Phil, who appeared in September 2026 and was treated by the press as made with AI (the account never confirmed it), always wears the same brown suit and curled mustache, and shadowboxes in silence in increasingly absurd places, according to Dexerto (September 2026). Granny Spills is always the same grandmother in pink designer outfits giving blunt advice about a luxury life, according to TIME (November 2025). In both, the setting changes and the character stays. More cases are in AI influencers that went viral.

YouTube's monetization policy gives as an allowed example using AI to visualize a unique character and narrative you invented, and it does not accept content made from generic or unoriginal templates that gives the impression of mass production (YouTube Help, read in October 2026). That does not guarantee monetization, and it applies only to YouTube.

Frequently asked questions

How to keep AI characters consistent across videos?
Give the model the person from every side. On Duble AI every look gets a character sheet by itself, with the body from every angle and six close-ups of the face, and the video is made from it. More photos of the person and looks made from the first one help hold the rest.
What is an AI character sheet?
It is one picture of the same person from several sides, drawn in one go so every view is the same person. Duble AI draws two for each look: one with the body from the front, three-quarter, profile and back, and one with six close-ups of the face.
Does the character sheet cost credits on Duble AI?
No. The two pictures are drawn automatically, with no button and no charge. What costs credits is the look itself: a new look is 2 credits, and its sheet comes with it. Creating your first character costs nothing either, up to 3 images across tries and adjustments.
How do I make the influencer look more like itself in the video?
Give the influencer more pictures. Duble AI uses the close-up face and the other angles to keep the character the same when it turns or comes close to the camera. You can send photos of other angles for each look, in the Other angles section of the look's page.
Can I use the same AI character in photos and in videos?
Yes. A photo and a video both start from the look of the double you pick when you make each one. A photo is 2 credits and a 10-second trend at Standard quality is 20. Videos and photos always cost credits.
Can I create a consistent AI influencer without showing my face?
Yes. Take a ready-made character from the cast with one tap, or describe one that looks like no real person. It becomes the face of the profile, the same in every video, and you never appear in any of them.
