What an AI influencer costs to run: per video and per month
8 min read
Having an AI influencer costs what its videos cost: a 10-second trend video is 20 credits at Standard quality, from $3.33. Creating the influencer costs nothing, up to 3 images between tries and adjustments. Three videos a week fit in the larger monthly plan, and one a day for a month fits in the pack "A season of posts". The sums are below, with other tools' prices beside them.
How much does one AI video cost?
The price is per second of video, and the quality sets the rate. A 10-second video is the unit that packs and plans are counted in:
| Quality | Output | Credits per second | A 10-second video | Ready in |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 768p | 2 | 20 credits | 1 to 3 minutes |
| High | 2K | 5 | 50 credits | 1 to 3 minutes |
| Turbo | 768p | 6 | 60 credits | seconds |
Credits turn into money at the price of whatever you bought them with. One 10-second video at Standard comes to:
| Bought as | Price | Credits | One Standard video of 10 seconds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pack "A week of posts" | $29.99 | 160 | $3.75 |
| Pack "A month of posts" | $59.99 | 360 | $3.33 |
| Pack "A season of posts" | $109.99 | 700 | $3.14 |
| Smaller monthly plan | $19.99 a month | 100 a month | $4.00 |
| Larger monthly plan | $49.99 a month | 300 a month | $3.33 |
Among the packs, the bigger the pack, the lower the price of a video. Credits never expire, and a plan's credits stay with you if you cancel it. To price a High or Turbo video, work out what one credit cost you (the price you paid divided by the credits you got) and multiply by the video's credits.
What does it cost to create the influencer?
Nothing, up to 3 images between tries and adjustments, and anyone from the cast is yours at a tap. To start, create your influencer.
The extras are small. A new look, the same person in other clothes or hair, costs 2 credits (how looks work). A photo of the influencer for the feed costs 2 (how photos work). An object, such as a product in hand, costs 2. Past the 3 images that cost nothing, each new drawing of the influencer costs credits too.
How is the sum worked out?
Take the number of videos, multiply by the seconds each one runs, and multiply by the credits per second of the quality you pick. The result is the credits you need. Ten seconds at Standard is ten times 2 credits a second, which is the 20 credits in the first table. Longer videos cost in proportion: the longest, 30 seconds, costs three times as much as one of ten.
To turn the credits into money, use the second table: the price of one Standard video of 10 seconds, times the number of videos.
Three ways of posting, added up
All three assume 10-second videos at Standard quality and a month of thirty days.
| How you post | Credits per week | Covered for a month by | You pay |
|---|---|---|---|
| Three videos a week | three times 20 | the larger plan, 300 credits a month | $49.99 a month |
| One video a day | seven times 20 | the pack "A season of posts", 700 credits | $109.99, once |
| One video and one photo a day | seven times (20 plus 2) | the pack "A season of posts", 700 credits | $109.99, once |
Three videos a week is twelve or thirteen videos in a month, each 20 credits. The larger plan gives 300 credits and makes 15 videos a month, so it covers this pace at $3.33 a video. The smaller plan makes 5, which is not enough.
One video a day is thirty videos, more than the larger plan makes. The pack "A season of posts" gives 700 credits and makes 35 videos, so it covers the month at $3.14 a video, and what is left stays on your balance. To keep a subscription instead, the larger plan's 300 credits plus the pack "A month of posts" (360 credits), bought on top, give the month what it needs.
One video and one photo a day adds a photo at 2 credits to each video's 20. Thirty days of both still fit in the pack's 700 credits, with little left over, so the price is the same. A new look at 2 credits comes out of that leftover.
For a trial week, the pack "A week of posts" (160 credits, $29.99) covers seven videos of 10 seconds, or seven videos with a photo each day.
What the sums leave out
- A video that fails or is refused gives its credits back at once. One that finishes but is not what you hoped for was made, and its credits are spent, so plan for a few spare videos.
- Quality changes the sum. At High (5 credits a second) or Turbo (6), a 10-second video is 50 or 60 credits, and a month of daily posts no longer fits in one pack.
- A video of your own is priced per second at the same rates as a trend, up to 30 seconds.
- These are costs only. What a profile earns is a separate question, taken up at the end.
What does the same job cost with other tools?
These are prices as of October 2026, each read from the tool's own page and left in the currency it shows. The tools do different jobs, so read the last column before the number.
| Tool | What its page lists | A 10-second clip | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kling Motion Control on fal.ai | $0.168 per second of output | $1.68 | A character image moved with the motion of a reference video you supply. Kapwing describes it as limited to one main character |
| Kling Motion Control on Kling's own site | 9 credits per second in Standard mode (version 3.0); the Standard plan lists $10 a month for 660 credits, $6.99 for the first month and $8.80 a month after that | 90 credits: about $1.36 at the list price, $0.95 in the first month and $1.20 after that | The same job |
| Wan 2.2 Animate Replace on fal.ai | $0.08 per 16-frame "video second" at 720p ($0.06 at 580p, $0.04 at 480p) | About $1.50 at 720p for a 30 fps source ($0.80 at 16 fps) | The character of a reference video you supply, swapped for another, with its lighting and color kept |
| Higgsfield Genjutsu | 15 seconds cost 40 credits at 480p, 104 at 720p and 144 at 1080p, which Higgsfield's launch guide of August 31, 2026, puts at about $2.00, $5.20 and $7.20; paid plans start at $15 a month for 200 credits | Not given for 10 seconds | The motion of a clip applied to a new character, and object swaps |
| Viggle | Pro is $7.99 a month for 80 credits (the page does not say whether that is the monthly or the yearly cycle); the no-cost plan gives 5 videos a day with a watermark | We did not find credits per clip on the page | Template and character-swap videos |
| Real Xablau, from Real Oficial (Brazil, in reais) | R$ 1.00 per second at 480p, and 720p costs double, going by the page's example (8 seconds for R$ 8.00 at the normal price; it showed R$ 0.50 per second in a promotion until October 19); only with a plan or a credit pack | R$ 10.00 at 480p | Swapping up to 6 characters in a video of your own of 2 to 60 seconds, with the original audio put back |
Kling and Wan are models sold by the second. You bring the character image and the reference clip, and the price is for the generation. On Duble AI the price of a video also covers the trend library, the same influencer in every video and the trend's original sound. A second of Standard video on the larger plan is $0.33, which is the number to set beside the per-second prices above. If the currencies differ, convert at the day's rate. Some creators publish what their videos cost. The maker of an AI Bigfoot series told Kapwing in July 2025 that a short video usually costs $50 to $150 on top of the $250-a-month Google Veo 3 Ultra plan, with five to ten attempts per clip. Kapwing worked out about $3 a clip within the plan. That is a job that starts from a prompt, not from a trend. BBC News Brasil reported in April 2026 that the creator of Dona Maria, a Brazilian AI character, spends about R$ 20 per video (O Povo).
What it costs against what it earns
Nothing guarantees that a profile earns. Kapwing wrote that the Bigfoot series was still operating at a loss, and put its break-even at 100,000 to 250,000 TikTok views per video, at what it called TikTok's general rate of $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 views. Dona Maria's creator told BBC News Brasil he earns little from sponsorships. To run the break-even for your own videos, divide a video's cost by the rate and multiply by 1,000, in one currency. The ways a profile can earn, with cases, are in how to make money with an AI influencer.
Frequently asked questions
- How much does it cost to make an AI influencer?
- Making the influencer costs nothing, up to 3 images across tries and adjustments, and anyone from the cast is yours at a tap. Videos and photos cost credits: a 10-second trend video is 20 credits at Standard quality, which is $3.33 on the larger monthly plan.
- Can I make an AI influencer without paying anything?
- Only the influencer, within 3 images. Every video and photo after that costs credits, and there is no free video or free trial of one. A 10-second trend video is 20 credits at Standard quality, from $3.33.
- How much does it cost to post an AI video every day?
- A month of one 10-second Standard video a day is thirty videos. The pack "A season of posts" makes 35 of them for $109.99, paid once. Three videos a week fit in the larger monthly plan at $49.99. Shorter videos cost less, because the price is per second.
- Do I pay for a video that fails?
- No. When a video fails or is refused, the credits go back to your balance right away. A video that finishes but is not what you wanted was still made, so its credits are spent. Credits never expire, so the ones you did not use stay for the next video.
- Is an AI influencer profitable?
- That depends on what the profile earns, and no source guarantees income. Kapwing reported in 2025 that an AI series was still operating at a loss, and BBC News Brasil reported in 2026 that the creator of a well-known profile says he earns little. The cost side you can know: the credits of a video, times the videos you post.
