Higgsfield alternatives for AI influencer video (Genjutsu, Recast, AI Influencer)

7 min read

Higgsfield is a general AI creative platform with three tools for AI influencer video: AI Influencer builds the character, Recast swaps it into a video, and Genjutsu moves it through a reference clip. Higgsfield alternatives for that job include Kling Motion Control, Viggle, Wan Animate and Duble AI. Which one fits depends on price, language and how much control you want.

Duble AI is our product and is one of the alternatives below, and no side-by-side test was run: the facts about the other tools come from their own pages, read on October 13, 2026, or from the source named beside them.

What do Higgsfield's three AI influencer tools do?

Higgsfield puts many models and effects in one account. Three of its tools matter if you want an influencer that appears in video.

AI Influencer

AI Influencer builds a character from 19 menu settings, from a prompt or from your own photo, and Higgsfield says no prompt writing is needed at any step (launch post, October 3, 2026). For video you pick a trending preset (Curated, Trending or New) or upload a reference clip. The page gives the clip length as 3 to 30 seconds and the launch post as 4 to 30. Output is 480p, 720p or 1080p. A new character costs 1.12 credits, and each video shows its cost before it runs. The two pages do not state whether the reference clip's sound is kept.

Recast

Recast is titled "Swap characters in any video". You give it a video and a clear photo of the replacement. The page states no length limit and no resolution, and says a generation takes about 30 seconds to 2 minutes.

Genjutsu

Genjutsu has two modes, according to its launch guide of August 31, 2026: Motion Transfer, which applies the movement of a clip to a new character or scene, and Object Swap. It takes one clip of 4 to 30 seconds and up to 30 reference images, outputs up to 1080p and comes with 30-plus presets. Fifteen seconds costs 40 credits at 480p, 104 at 720p and 144 at 1080p. Kapwing, which lists its own tool first in that roundup, puts the limit at 40 reference images and says Genjutsu gives less control over how references are separated in multi-character scenes (October 4, 2026).

In Brazil, Genjutsu came up when O Tempo reported on the Jean Phil character and noted that Higgsfield promotes Genjutsu, a tool that inserts characters into already-recorded videos. The report does not say the creator used it (October 8, 2026). Who Jean Phil is covers what is known.

How much does Higgsfield cost?

Higgsfield sells monthly plans in credits and in dollars. The pricing page showed dollars on October 13, 2026, said prices exclude VAT and vary by region, and showed no price in reais.

Plan Price Credits a month What the page lists
Free $0 limited use No free AI Influencer generations listed
Starter $15 a month 200 10 free AI Influencer generations. Up to 2 videos and 4 images at once. Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini only
Plus $49 monthly, or $39 a month billed annually 1,000 30 free AI Influencer generations. All models. 7 "unlimited" models
Ultra $129 monthly, or $99 a month billed annually 3,000, 6,000 or 9,000 Same free generations as Plus
Teams From $65 per seat a month From 1,000 per seat 2 to 15 seats

The page lists Starter as billed annually and says there is no difference compared to monthly, so check the cycle at checkout. Third-party guides quote other figures (one, on the blog of MagicShot, which sells a competing tool, lists Starter at $19 with 270 credits), so read the page on the day you buy. For scale, by our own arithmetic: at Plus's monthly price, $49 for 1,000 credits, you get about 20 credits to the dollar, which puts 15 seconds of Genjutsu, at the credits in the launch guide, at roughly $2 at 480p, $5 at 720p and $7 at 1080p.

What does Higgsfield do better?

Higgsfield's strength is breadth. One account covers many models, not only its own: the pricing page sets plans apart by which models they include, with all of them on Plus. You choose the output size, 480p, 720p or 1080p, and Genjutsu's price rises with each step. Reference clips can run to 30 seconds. The library is large: its sitemap lists 229 motion-preset pages and 100 effect apps, and AI Influencer starts from trending presets. Object Swap changes one element of a clip.

What do reviews say about Higgsfield billing?

On October 13, 2026, Trustpilot showed 4.0 out of 5 across 4,966 reviews (63% five stars, 18% one star), and the one-star themes were renewals and cancellation, credits that run out fast and limits on refunds; reviewers there are a self-selected sample. In February 2026, Forbes México reported that "unlimited" plans had limited generation (February 12, 2026).

Which Higgsfield alternative fits which job?

Alternative What it is for Starting price, October 13, 2026
Kling Motion Control You bring a character image and a reference video, and the model moves the character with the video's motion and expression Standard: $10 a month list price ($6.99 first-month offer), 660 credits. Motion Control 3.0 is 9 credits a second in Standard mode
Viggle Meme templates (8,000+ per its App Store listing), Motion Control, Mix and a live mode. English and Simplified Chinese only Pro: $7.99 a month, billing cycle not labeled, or $9.99 monthly in the App Store. The free plan gives 5 videos a day with a watermark
Wan Animate An open-weights model with a Replace mode that swaps the person in a video. You use it through a host or run it yourself On fal.ai, $0.08 per 16-frame "video second" at 720p and $0.04 at 480p (the page is undated)
Duble AI A trend library, or your own clip, with the same influencer in every video Plans from $19.99 a month, one-time packs from $29.99

Kling Motion Control works through the price of a clip and its limits. Viggle AI alternatives covers the template route, and Kling vs Wan Animate vs Runway Act-Two puts the model-level tools side by side. Magic Hour and the Brazilian Real Xablau are in AI character swap video tools in 2026.

Where does Duble AI fit?

Duble AI overlaps with Higgsfield's AI Influencer and Recast on one job: putting a character into a video that already exists. You pick the influencer (the app calls it a double) and a trend from the library, say whether anyone speaks or sings in the clip, and choose Standard, High or Turbo quality. The video comes back in a few minutes, or in seconds at Turbo, in the trend's own scene, with the clip's own sound and no watermark. There is no prompt to write. The influencer comes from a one-sentence description, a part-by-part builder, your own photos or a ready-made cast, and the same one is used in every video you make. You can also send your own clip of 3 to 30 seconds.

It is narrower than Higgsfield. In video, it does only that job: none from a text description, no generated voice or music, no choice of model beyond the three qualities, and the scene can change a little. Output is 768p, or 2K at High quality. Pricing is per second, $0.33 a second at Standard on the larger monthly plan, so a ten-second trend video comes to $3.33. Plans start at $19.99 a month for 100 credits, one-time packs at $29.99. Credits never expire, a plan can be canceled at any time, and when a video fails the credits come back at once. The site works in Portuguese and English. In Brazil prices are in reais, with Pix or card for packs and card for the subscription; elsewhere they are in dollars, by card.
